Jeanne Herrick PhD: Drawing on her work in consulting major organizations such as ExxonMobil, Pepsico, and Northrup Grumman on issues of cultural understanding and cross-cultural communication, Dr. Herrick also teaches the Business Communication course for the Master in Product Development Program for McCormick´s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. She also works with Northwestern University´s Law School, as a consultant on issues of cross-cultural legal writing and cultural acculturation.

The discussion topics will include: - The difference between cultural patterns and stereotypes. - Culture shock and how to deal with it. - The development of intercultural sensitivity. - Cultural differences in time, relationships, power and competition.
