TCFA Chicago Chapter, Chicago Booth Greater China Club and CSSA at University of Chicago cordially invite you to an information session with China Securities Regulatory Commission (中国证监会).

During the information session, Dr. Bin Qi (祁斌), the Director-General of CSRCs Research Center, will give a presentation on the latest reforms and developments of the Chinese Capital Market. The CSRC 5-member delegate will also provide the detailed information about establishing Beijing Academy of Securities and Futures Research as well as the academys recruitment for the oversea talents during the information session. Please bring your resume with you if you are interested in the positions.

Dr. Bin Qi is the director-in-general of the China Securities Regulatory Commission's Research Center, a think tank. Prior to his current position, he was deputy director of the fund supervision department of CSRC for five years, supervising mutual fund industry and Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors in the Chinese capital markets. Dr. Qi joined CSRC in 2000 as a member of its strategy and planning committee. Before joining CSRC, Dr. Qi was a partner at a New York-based venture capital firm. Prior to that, he worked for Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Paribas Capital Market in New York and London. He holds a Ph. D. in Economics from Tsinghua University, an MBA from the University of Chicago and an M.S. in biophysics from the University of Rochester.
